Birmingham Royal Ballet Workshop Fun

Today, Year 6 had a fantastic opportunity to explore ‘Still Life at the Penguin Cafe’ when a dance artist and pianist from Birmingham Royal Ballet came to lead a workshop.

After a fascinating look at the endangered or extinct animals that featured in the ballet, the costumes and inspiration behind the performance, it was time to get warmed up.

The class used the moves of the zebra from the production as inspiration. The results were fabulous. What an experience!
