Year 3 and 4 Inspire workshop

On Tuesday 7th February, Year 3 and 4 hosted our second Inspire workshop of the year! This workshop was all about Maths.

We had four different activities for the children and parents to enjoy. This included addition and subtraction snakes and ladders, times tables bingo (Miss Ali was the perfect host!) and a Kagan activity called Showdown. This required the children taking it in turns being the teacher of a small group and asking a times tables question. The rest of the group wrote their answers down on a whiteboard. When the teacher was ready the group showed their answers to each other,  the teacher checked the answers and coached if an answer was incorrect.

It was great to see so many parents, old and new, attend the workshop and we had great feedback at the end! We are already looking forward to the next session 😀
