Year 4 had a brilliant trip to Cadbury World yesterday. Not only did we learn a lot, we also had lots of fun AND got free chocolate! What a day!
We started off with a talk about how chocolate is made, all the way from bean to bar.
Isaac wore the factory uniform worn by workers at the Cadbury Factory, even modelling the beard cover so that Mr. Bertuello didn’t have to!
After lunch we went into the 4D cinema, on an exciting ride through a virtual Cadbury World.
We learnt about how the Aztecs were the first to trade cocoa beans on our tour of the factory itself.
Later, we were shown how chocolate is moulded, and got to see a real cocoa pod!
