Dinosaur Biscuit Baking

On Tuesday morning, and in links with this terms topic Footsteps from the Past, Year 3 enjoyed a fun DT lesson making biscuits in the shape of dinosaurs! They had already reviewed existing products through taste, discussed what their biscuits should look like in order to meet the brief, and made their own dinosaur themed boxed packaging.

In lesson, each group weighed out the ingredients carefully into their mixing bowl and showed great teamwork and politeness when it came to taking it in turns to combine the mixture to make the dough. They each then rolled out their own dough and chose a cutter to use to shape their biscuit. Once cut out and placed on the baking trays, the biscuits were handed over to cook. A roarsome experience for all.
