‘Measures’ afternoon

Today we had a maths afternoon in year 1. We were learning about weight and what objects were ‘lighter’ and ‘heavier’. We smashed an interactive game online and scored 10/10 🤗! We experimented with weighing scales and different objects. Take a look 👇🏽

In our continuous provision we made buildings out of 3D shapes/blocks and in our art studio we used play dough and explored numbers. Some examples of what we did are make the number using play dough and add the ‘correct amount of legs to the octopus’. The challenge cards were fun!
