This week Year 3 and 4 have been on an exciting visit to the Lapworth Museum of Geology, just over the road at the University of Birmingham. We thoroughly enjoyed looking at the fascinating exhibits, and exploring the museum itself.
We then got the chance to learn about the different types of fossils; body, trace and cast, before we were able to look at fossils up close and even touch some! Amazing.
Many of us have said we are going to take our parents back for another visit.
Wow! A real-life Allosaurus skeleton!
Getting ready to explore the museum on an exciting treasure hunt!
