World Book Day in Reception

We had a great day today. We had two brand new stories (that even Mrs Hyde didn’t know!!) written by authors we hadn’t heard of before. We had some surprise gift wrapped books delivered to the classroom after lunch and we had to think really hard about the topic of each book based on clues that had been left on the wrapping. See the clues and the books in the pictures below, can you match the clues to the books? We really enjoyed guessing and ripping off the tissue paper.
