History: Finding out about toys

Year 1’s Topic for History is toys. We have been busy thinking of questions that we can ask to help us find out more information. Year 1 worked in groups to ask Mrs Zafar questions about her childhood toys: “How old is she?”, “What is she made from?”, ” Why is her hair blue?”

We then used the internet to help us find out about toys from the 20th Century and Victorian toys. We identified that we have more plastic toys than we did during the Victorian era.
