Student Placements
Tiverton Academy is situated in close proximity to Birmingham University in Selly Oak. We have developed close links with the University and over the years we have accommodated and supported many PGCE Teacher Training students leading to them completing a successful practice.
We also offer student placements to trainee Teaching Assistants and to young students completing work experience placements (secondary school pupils year 10 and 11).
If you would like to apply for a placement at Tiverton Academy please complete the application form and provide the names and email addresses of two referees on the form.
If we are able to accommodate the placement we will contact you and invite you to an informal interview prior to agreeing the placement.
We value the positive impact students can have on the school and are grateful for the extra support they can offer our pupils and staff – we consider all applications and always try our best to accommodate placements if it is in our capacity to do so.
