Maths Statement
At Tiverton Academy we follow the National Curriculum for Mathematics. This enables our pupils to develop independence, confidence and competence to become the best possible mathematicians they can be. We deliver three aspects of the National Curriculum for Maths which are : fluency, reasoning and problem solving from Early Years to the end of KS2. We believe in developing , deepening and sustaining understanding by exploring a variety of different mastery strategies along with teaching of conceptual understanding.
