Children’s Mental Health Week

This week is a special week: Children’s Mental Health Week.

However, every day in Year 6 we are taking the time to consider our mental health and the way in which we can support others.

One of the daily ways in which we try to do this is by having a regular mindfulness session.  We use various videos such as those produced by Headspace and The Mental Health Teacher to help us focus on our breathing, relaxation and staying “in the present”.  It helps us stay calm, centred and ready for the challenges we face every day.
