Healthy Eating in Reception

Over the past couple of weeks we have been thinking about the food we put into our bodies. Today we did a sorting activity together using KAGAN co-operative learning task, ‘Corners’.

The children used green, amber and red plates and placed foods and drinks onto them. They did very well and we discussed their choices. Some changes were made, such a chocolate being moved from the green plate to the red plate (they made me!) and the children looked again at their choices.
