The Gingerbread Man

We have been reading the Gingerbread Man in Nursery for a couple of weeks now and learning about the story. We have done lots of activities linked to the Gingerbread Man and today we made our own Gingerbread men.
Firstly we talked about good hygiene practices and the importance of washing our hands before we start cooking.
We talked about what ingredients we would need and what the little old woman used in the story of the gingerbread man.
We all helped to mix the ingredients together and make the dough. We then used a cutter to cut out our own gingerbread man, and used cranberries and peel to decorate him. It was a lot of fun.
Nursery also enjoyed eating them!
