Visit to Selly Manor

Today Year 2 went on a special trip to Selly Manor. We have been inspired from our previous learning in Year one based on History and Geography of our local area and how it has changed. Year 2 were amazed to find out that this Tudor house is 500 years old! We found out that some of our diet today is similar to that of the Tudors. However they did not have any chocolate!

We then moved on to the sleeping quarters and found out that all the siblings shared a bed and this was not very comfortable. We identified that their clothing was different to ours and Tudor armour was very heavy indeed!
