Year 5 and 6 – INSPIRE Workshop – Writing

Today, Year 5 and 6 were excited to invite their parents into the school to share in a workshop, focussed around different aspects of the writing curriculum: spelling exception words, using fronted adverbials, effective descriptive writing, and using the Kagan structure – Fan n Pick we practised orally creating sentences using adventurous vocabulary.

It was a wonderful morning and we are looking forward to our next INSPIRE workshop in the spring!
