Year 6 – DT project – Moving Story Books – Focused Practical Tasks

After looking at various existing pop-up cards and books, we started experimenting with different types of mechanisms: levers, rotation, linkages, pop-ups, flaps and pivots.  We used straws, split pins and various other materials to explore different types that could be included in our designs.
