Please Check Book Bags – Happy Half Term

Dear Parents,

All of the reading records that came into school yesterday and today have been updated by myself and put back into book bags with a new book of choice from the reading corner. Please remember to access your Harper Collins Big Cat account for your Little Wandle texts.

The Little Wandle books have not changed for this week.

The children will be assessed on their sounds so far after half term and in other posts over the last two weeks I have made suggestions for websites that have games and videos to supplement your child’s phonics learning at home. These are not compulsory but they may offer your child a more interactive experience.

Please note that I don’t send books or reading records home with children if they don’t have a book bag. Book bags keep the books and reading records protected against all sorts of things ad they are convenient for the children to carry.

There is a letter going out tonight re reading and handwriting.
