Y6 Art – revealing our transfer prints

Today, Year 6 got to see if the transfer medium prints that they produced last week had been successful.  Had they put enough medium on?  Had they pressed down hard enough?

To reveal the results, they had to apply water to the paper until it was fully soaked.  Then, using the scrubber side of the sponge, they had to scrub away the layer of damp paper until the design was revealed!

 

 

Not too bad for first attempts! They are going to have another chance to master this technique in our next piece of art work.
