Year 6 Art – Experimenting with the abstract, inspired by Frank Bowling

After learning about the art of Frank Bowling and the way in which he uses the mixed media, Year 6 had a go at creating abstract images using the same techniques: flicking paint, collage, frottage and splashing onto the paper.  They really enjoyed the process of creating images in this free-style way.
