Amazing Automata – Focused Practical Task – Exploring Cam Movements

As Year 6 get closer to building their final designs, it was time to carry out some essential focused practical tasks.  In order to help us decide on a final movement for our cam toy, we explored different shaped cams; it was also a good chance to practise our accurate cutting and measuring. Great team work was needed too. So many skills!
