Getting to know our own class robot….Beebot!

Today, Y1 got to meet a robot that they will be using for their computing over the next half term – its name is Beebot!

First, Y1 talked about robots that we have in our world today, what they are used for and why they are used.

Next, it was time to meet Beebot! Y1 learned all about his controls and even had a go at moving like a Beebot themselves.

To finish, they had a go at programming the Beebot and seeing what would happen. They even challenged two Beebots to a race! Great fun!
