Salt dough texture work

In our art lessons this term, we are learning about texture. Last week, we explored many different textures on the school field and made rubbings of what we found:

Today, we used a range of modelling tools to transfer some of our favourite or most interesting textures to a salt dough tile. How many different textures can you spot? Which do you prefer? What would they feel like to touch?
