Year 6 Mythical Creature Sculptures

Today we started the final, exciting stage of our art project: the sculpting! Over the term, we have carefully explored the materials, we researched different forms of mythical creature and then we did lots of creative sketches to prepare for our final design.

All that preparation and skills work meant that we felt really confident when starting our sculpture this morning. We used our chosen material to create our sculpture.

Lots of great outcomes! The next stage will be painting them and adding extra materials such as paper/card wings and wool for hair.
